Fall Pastels

With the change of the seasons and shorter days upon us, I find myself re-wearing my favorite dark and neutral fall pieces. I woke up this morning and felt like I needed to switch it up a bit. I did so by adding a dash of color to my ensemble. Pastels are some of my favorite colors to wear, but it's often hard to find a way to subtly incorporate them into your fall wardrobe. I recently bought this beautiful necklace from the J.Crew Factory and it was on major sale! How could I possibly resist such a pretty lavender and mint necklace from J. Crew? As someone who loves to mix up her statement necklaces, I was really eager to wear it, but I had no clue how to style it in a fall/winter manner. I'm also way too impatient to wait until April to debut a new accessory. After staring at the clothes in my closet for a good ten minutes, I realized that my trusty navy blue sweater from H&M went with just about anything and I decided to pair it with my green Ralph Lauren pin stripe button down. I paired the sweater, button down, and necklace with my favorite pair of dark wash denim and Madewell Archive Boots to give it a more of an autumnal feel. Who says pastels are just for the Spring?
