Mid-Summer Reading List

This novel revolves around the Jackie Kennedy's iconic pink suit and
her many other famous looks. I've browsed through many Jackie
Kennedy novels and this is seemingly one of the most interesting!
Paper Towns by John Green is the perfect book to read if you need a follow up
to The Fault In Our Stars (that isn't as much of a tear jerker!)  It's full of mystery,
romance, and the struggles of growing up. Plus it is also being made into a
movie!

This book is based in the Hamptons and is the perfect summer beach read!
Luckily, the author has just released a sequel to Rules of Summer and I could
not be more excited to read it!

This year my summer reading assignments have fortunately been pretty flexible. My upcoming English teacher has allowed us to choose three books of our own to read and write about. In past summers I usually end up suffering through books that the teachers have assigned and that I'm not all that interested in. So, I've been pretty excited about having the opportunity to choose books that I enjoy and have the time to actually read, something that I never can never seem to make time for during the actual school year. I can never contain myself from buying too many books when I'm in Barnes & Noble and then ending up not reading them! However, these are some of my absolute favorite summer reads so far!
What are some of your favorite books?
