Cable Knit Snow Days

Ten days into the New Year and it has already felt like a whirlwind... or maybe more like a Polar Vortex? The temperature continues to drop and the snow keeps falling. I think it is safe to say that it is officially winter. Cable knit sweaters have pretty much been my best friend since October, and I'm especially fond of this beautiful fisherman cable knit sweater from J. Crew. The intricate beading and the extended collar not only add a bit of sparkle, but extra warmth as well. Perfect for these -25 degree wind chills! ;) I kept my accessories simple with my everyday pearl earrings and my newest, loveliest, Tiffany & Co. bow necklace, which I received as a gift from my parents. Since I am completely infatuated with anything involving a bow, this is easily becoming one of favorite necklaces! We received a few more unexpected inches of snow last night and I woke up to the nice surprise of another snow day. So, I grabbed my trusty Hunter Boots and decided to brave the cold!
